Producer Salaam Remi hits us with the official soundtrack for Netflix’ new documentary, “Grass Is Greener”. It lit up jazz and hip-hop — and ignited a war on drugs steeped in racial injustice. Experts explore America’s complicated relationship with weed. Hip-hop legend Fab 5 Freddy directs and narrates this documentary featuring Snoop Dogg, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels and more. The soundtrack is a 12-track release and features the likes of The LOX, Stephen Marley, Black Thought, Bun B, Betty Wright, James Poyser, Berner, Smif-N-Wessun, Nitty Scott, Bodega Bamz, Terrace Martin and more. It’s produced entirely by Remi. Press play below and check out a trailer for the Netflix documentary (which drops tomorrow) down bottom.
